# Whats open browse widget

This is a standalone JS application that any client can use to self-host the WO browse vertical. It is constructed as follows:

- ES6 JS app, with webpack as a bundler / taskrunner
- Node for dependency management of course
- Lodash / EJS templating
- Backends to a PHP API, found in `./api` (look at `index.php` for apache vhost example)

`webpack.config.js` should indicate file locations and further config details. The app itself is cpmpiled into `dist/whatsopen-browse.js`, which at any given time will contain the production release for this app. A new version should be checked in as features are merged in.

When all is in place, a single script tag should serve the thing up:

It is designed to be a wildcard hostname, that any client can be pointed at.
